Youth News:

We've got a tough act to follow in 2009:

The U17's are reigning County Champions!
The U15's were County quarter finalists..
The U13's won their Wiltshire league and were also county finalists!

We will be running 5 Youth teams in the 2009 season. The U11's and U13's will play in the Wilts League, and the U15's & U17's will participate in the Oxfordshire competitions. We will also enter the U9's in local quick cricket competitions.

Outdoor coaching will commence in the first week of May.
The Under 10's and U11's will train at the Recreation Ground on Tuesdays starting at 6:30.
The Under 13's and U15/U17's will train at the Defence Academy, Weds = U15/17, Friday's = U13's. Both starting at 6:30.

About the coaching offered:

Coaching is led by the following coaches: Steve Bowles (UKCC Club Coach), Dave Winskill (UKCC2), Danny LLoyd (UKCC2), Shaz Khan (ECB 2), Richard Kewell (UKCC2) and Nick Taylor (UKCC2).

We will follow a 12 Week plan to cover all major skills involved, in a fun and challenging environment.

Also, for the first time, we will be running a Summer training camp during school holidays. More details to follow.

Shrivenham Cricket Club is accredited with the ECB Club Mark Scheme, and as such has demonstrated implementation of and adherence to, ECB directives which ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all. We are a focus club in the Vale of White Horse District and play an active role in developing District and County players.
